Electronic Chemicals Laboratory Chemist

This posting is for an experienced chemist for the Electronic Chemicals Technical Service and Applications Development and Product Development Laboratory of Eastman Chemical Company (Dynaloy, LLC) located in Indianapolis IN. The selected individual for this position will be required to:

• Execute experimental plans that are developed by a multidisciplinary team. Experimental techniques may include chemical formulation development, cleaning semiconductor wafers with automatic and semi-automatic processes, modification of laboratory equipment to improve semiconductor cleaning efficiency, development and use of analytical techniques such as microscopy to determine cleaning efficiency.
• Communicate experimental results through written documentation and/or oral presentations to technical and business/marketing audiences

The desired candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical field (Chemistry, Engineering or Materials Science preferred)

Required Travel:

• 5% travel is expected for this position

Required Experience:

• 5 or more years in chemical formulating preferably within the semiconductor materials industry
Experience in a laboratory setting is required

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in a wet chemistry and/or microscopy laboratory is preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processing a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills
• Strong results focus with a demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
